Airbnb Advertisement Analysis

For this assignment in COMM 333, I was required to analyze five advertisements from a single brand and evaluate how motivational appeals were used to persuade audiences. I chose Airbnb because their messaging is heavily rooted in emotion, storytelling, and global connection, which makes their ads rich for analysis. In my video presentation, I identify the target audiences for each ad, examine message structure and medium, and assess how effectively Airbnb uses appeals such as belonging, warmth, authenticity, and nostalgia to shape public perception. This process helped me better understand how brands use persuasive communication strategies to influence behavior and build trust.
